Marriage and Family Initiative
Our Marriage and Family ministry is dedicated to strengthening marriages and families in our churches and community. Whether you are a couple preparing to enter into a marriage covenant, a married couple interested in strengthening your relationship, or a couple in crisis needing healing and growth in order to experience joy and peace in your relationship, we are here to help.
We offer:
Individual and couple marriage counseling- by appointment only
Marriage / Pre-Marriage Classes
2 Becoming One – An eight week small group study designed to renew your marriage. Through this study you will learn how to experience permanent and fulfilling love, how to integrate the practical and spiritual sides of marriage, and how to transform a performance-based relationship into a relationship based on faith in God's Word.
PAIRS – A ten - week small - group study teaching practical skills, attitudes, emotional understandings and behaviors that nurture and sustain healthy relationships and lead to emotional intimacy.
Pre-Marriage Mentor Training – A program that trains and equips married couples to serve as mentors to other newly married couples during the first two years of marriage. NOTE: This program is only offered through the local churches.
FOCUS – (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding & Study) an aid to help study, understand, and communicate openly concerning issues that are important to both individuals in a relationship.
